General Questions

1. Where does SixThirty3 come from?

   633 is taken from Matthew 6:33 which says, "Seek first the kingdom of heaven and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you." Our Student Ministry has adopted this verse as our focal verse and a driving force behind the things we do here.

2. What do you do in your worship service?

   We want our worship service to present you with an opportunity to encounter the living God. That's why we call our services: ENCOUNTER. With that in mind, we believe that we can encounter God through many different ways. It may be through art, music, reading, talking, playing, singing, listening, giving, serving, or any other number of things. A typical service will include games, music, prayer, offering, videos, and a message. But please know that every service may be different depending upon the direction the Holy Spirit leads.

3. Where and when do you meet?

   We meet in the Youth Room at First Baptist Church of Homestead for ENCOUNTER on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. There are other opportunities each week for students to meet, however. There are Sunday School classes every Sunday morning at 9:45 am in the Youth Room and other opportunitites for service throughout the week. Call the church office @ 305-247-1662 for more info.
